Sweet and Sour

Soooo...We watched this movie called "When Harry Met Sally..." last night. It's a pretty old movie, made in 1989, I think, which basically talks about two people who move from Chicago to New York. They are driving in the same car all 18 hours of the road, arguing. In New York they decide to not see or communicate with each other. So the movie focuses on their personal lives, which seem to be going quite well for about 5 years, until they realize that the person they love and live with does not love them back. Then they start seeing each other often, but as friends. Movie ends with them getting married. DUH! :) The plot is pretty simple, but this movie is quite enjoyable because of the characters. Both Harry (Billy Crystal) and Sally (Meg Ryan) are very good and fit their roles perfectly. They are both very talkative, kinda full of themselves in a good way, and at times ridiculously funny. Take this scene for example. Actually that's how Leela got me interested in this movie. It's nice to watch this movie with your bf/gf, because it shows you how hard it is to find the right person, and hopefully the person you are watching it with is that person. It makes you appreciate your bond. At least that's what I felt watching it.
